Casting # on inlet manifold 14096244

This is a genuine Mercruiser GM early model intake cover 1987 – 1989

To check if this is correct for your engine;

  • 8 of the 12 intake manifold bolts are installed at a 90 degree angle to the block. The other 4 bolts are installed at a 72 degree angle
  • The valve cover bolts are installed in the center of the head
  • Crankshafts utilize a 1 piece rear main seal
  • These blocks are machined to operate a mechanical fuel pump
